Aimé - musical duomobile - bicycle

The Aimé Duomobiel is a duo-bike , specially tailored to the needs of nursing homes, residential care centres and centres for people with disabilities.

Getting residents with dementia (or other disabilities) who still have difficulty communicating out of their isolation is a challenge.

Aimé - the 'musical' Duomobiel - combines movement with music : a nice song from the old days or music from a playlist of your choice.

Cycling together

• a companion / fellow resident / family member / visitor takes the senior - with or without dementia - (or the person with a disability) along in the rotating movement of the pedals.
• Cycling can be done with both feet and hands .
• The Aimé Duomobiel ' plays music ' when it detects a bicycle movement.

Interaction and connectedness

• People withdementia - even in an advanced stage - are seen coming out of their world ; their fellow residents also enjoy the music.
