Newstead handles are soft, non-slip and ergonomic, made from ABS and latex-free rubber. Fork and spoon are bent at 40°, but this angle can be adjusted very slightly.

If the mobility of the arm or wrist is reduced, it may be useful to have the front part of the cutlery at a different angle. With certain types this is adjustable, with others the angle is fixed.

Most cutlery is in principle suitable for a household dishwasher at a moderate temperature. Industrial dishwashers such as those used in commercial kitchens and institutions can damage the handle.

Cutlery in a corner is recommended for people with movement limitations.

There are 2 options:

• cutlery that is already in a corner
  • advantage: robust
  • disadvantage: the angle is fixed and can no longer be adjusted
• bendable cutlery
  • advantage: one can perfectly determine the right angle for the user
  • disadvantage: the bending point is always a weak point in the metal. In principle, the cutlery can only be bent once. Using the specifications as a "demo" is therefore not possible.
