Elbow – heel protector

An elbow and heel protector is a device used to protect the skin of the elbow and/or heel from chafing, rubbing and pressure . It is a soft, padded cushion that wraps around the elbow or heel and fastens with a Velcro fastener.

This type of protector is often used by people who are bedridden or have limited mobility and therefore spend a lot of time in bed or in a wheelchair. Prolonged pressure on the elbow or heel can lead to irritation and even pressure sores, especially in people who cannot move often or cannot shift their weight.

The elbow and heel pads provide extra cushion and protection to the sensitive areas, reducing the chance of skin irritation and pressure sores . The elbow and heel protector is filled with fire-retardant polyester.
