At the height where you put the splint you need to measure the circumference of your finger.
The different sizes available are:
- set of 3 with n° 2-3-4 (finger circumference between: 4.3 - 4.95 cm) = size XS
- set of 3 with n° 4-5-6 (4.95 - 5.7 cm) = size S
- set of 3 with n° 6-7-8 (5.7 - 6.14 cm) = size M
- set of 3 with n° 8-9-10 (6.14 - 6.8 cm) = size L
- set of 3 with n° 10-11-12 (6.8 - 7.4 cm) = size XL
- set of 3 with n° 13-14-15 (7.65 - 8.2 cm) = size XXL
How should I measure my finger to install a finger splint?
At the height where you put the splint you need to measure the circumference of your finger.
It is best to use a tape measure or a string for this. Then take the correct size based on the size chart above.
Can be used for all fingers, including the thumb.
Little striking 3-point finger splint, meant for PIP or DIP joints. Applicable for boutonnière, swan neck, lateral deviation, mallet and for the prevention of a trigger finger. Made from 1.6 mm semi-transparent plastic in skin color.
You can change the shape with a hot air blower, this must be done by a professional. Because finger joints are relatively small and the force lever quite short, it is important to use the correct size as accurately as possible. A finger can start or stop swelling. For this reason, the Oval 8 is always sold in a set of 3, each with 3 consecutive sizes.

The six ways how the Oval-8® splint can be applied:
1. Swan neck or hyperextension deformaty;
2. Mallet or baseball finger;
3. Boutonniere deformity or jammed finger;
4. Trigger finger;
5. Fractures;
6. Crooked or deviated fingers.

Le produit est excellent vraiment excellent, il est dommage que sur toutes les attelles reçues une seule fonctionne correctement, cela donne un prix élevé pour une attelle. C'est pour cela que je ne donne que trois étoiles.

Handige en kleine splint.. door de gering afmetingen met gemak dag en nacht te dragen, ook onder mijn vinyl handschoenen om overbelasting van mijn duim tijdens mijn werk als tandarts te voorkomen.

Pros Simple, elegant design; light weight; strong enough; is waterproof, so handy for washing, etc; can wear gloves over it; suitable for undemanding work Cons Expensive; getting correct size is crucial (I had to buy two sets...); for top finger joints I feel it does not give enough support; keeping finger straight in both directions during healing process is tricky; as it has to fit quite tightly it cuts into one’s flesh which is uncomfortable; can slip when washing; not suitable for heavier work or where gripping is required; not safe enough to wear whilst sleeping I found that other, more enclosing designs, worked generally better

praktisch vb. handen wassen - iets vastgrijpen enz. jammer , ganse middenvinger word er niet door gestrekt. hoewel de spalk er klemmend rond zat

De Oval 8 vingerspalk is zeer comfortabel in het gebruik. Je kunt je handen wassen en huishoudelijke klusjes doen die met water te maken hebben. Met andere spalkjes moet je telkens een handschoen aandoen of een ander verbandje aanleggen om uw vinger droog te houden. Ben blij dat ik dit bij jullie gevonden heb.

Heel prettig om gewricht te kunnen ontlasten door deze even vast te zetten met de spalkjes. De verschillende maten heel praktisch en goed passend. Heel fijn dat ze zo onopvallend zijn. Ik ga binnenkort 2e (reserve setje) bestellen!

De Oval 8 voldoet aan mijn verwachtingen. Ik had hiervoor een " gesloten" spalkje voor mijn malletfinger. Deze was zeer oncomfortabel. Deze Oval 8 blijft goed zitten. Handen wassen is ook geen probleem meer. De spalk blijft prima zitten. Geeft naar mijn idee genoeg ondersteuning voor herstel van de malletfinger.
