The shoulder belt sits around the abdomen, shoulders and the backrest of the chair/seat and prevents the patient from falling forward or to the side from the chair/seat or from standing up. This belt is a combination of the abdominal belt with 2 shoulder straps that are preferably crossed over the back. The shoulder straps have a soft cushion strap, which provides increased comfort. Fixation belts are used to secure people in a safe and comfortable way to their (wheel)chair, sofa or bed.
