Positioning cushions in medical fabric covers covered with PU polyurethane. The primary function of positioning cushions is to prevent pressure ulcers and to increase the comfort of the chronically recumbent or postoperative patient. Positioning cushions are filled with EPS polystyrene beads of a suitable diameter. Polystyrene filling retains its shape, is not subject to deformation or crumbling. EPS balls move at the slightest change in the patient's position, thereby changing the stimulation of tissues (micromassage).
