VELA offers versatile, easily adjustable triple / work chairs for people with reduced mobility to support activity and autonomy in daily life.
A Vela chair is always tailor-made, specifically to the needs of the person with a disability.
The Vela Tango range is available in a manual or electric height-adjustable version. The electric version is ideal when you cannot use your own weight to adjust the height of the chair and also offers support to the user when standing. This version is ideal for example. persons with arthritis.
The Vela Salsa range is a compact version with a shorter seat depth that encourages an active sitting, half-sitting and standing position, available in a manual height-adjustable version.
All models are available in various colors and materials, depending on the type of seat: the Phoenix fabric has a slightly higher frictional resistance, the Main Line Plus fabric is a slightly thicker fabric, both are easy to maintain. Also available in artificial leather skai (classic) or Dolce (softer) that can be cleaned with alcoholic cleaning agents. Also available in breathable artificial leather Compound with anti-slip properties, at an additional cost.
Properties:
- ergonomic seats with special comfortable foam and backrests (except for Salsa 130) in various sizes
- manual (with gas spring, control lever under seat) or electrically height-adjustable (control in the armrests, only the Tango range). The springs are replaceable, making multiple interval heights possible (except for Tango 50).
- inclination and rotation of the seat via control levers (except Tango 50). Seat rotation is optional with Salsa 100, 110, 120 and 130 (not possible with Salsa 400).
- inclination and height adjustment of the backrest via control levers
- central brake on the rear wheels by a movable lever: standard placed on the right, on request this can also be placed on the left
- control levers are placed on the right as standard, on request they can also be placed on the left
- depending on the type: height and width adjustable armrests, removable, adjustable at seat height for smooth transfers.
- stable base with 4 swivel wheels of 10 cm Ø
