Shower / bath chair

The shower / bath chair is designed to allow a patient to shower in a lying position with bent hips and legs. Safe and comfortable bathing for people with multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, motor neuron disease and clients with fixed hips, legs or contractures. It is also particularly beneficial for those with involuntary movements and rapidly deteriorating body conditions. Adaptable to three positions to suit both small, medium and large persons.

The tilting shower / bath chair is specially designed for users with multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, motor neuron disease and clients with fixed hips, legs or contractures. It is also particularly beneficial for those with involuntary movements and rapidly deteriorating body conditions. This level of support has now been combined with the benefits of a tilting shower chair that provides a comfortable and safe bathing solution with a lying surface between 5 and 35 degrees. The shower chair is available in three standard sizes; small, medium and large. Each model is complemented by a carefully designed range of padding and support options that can be combined to create a user-specific support system that offers both comfort and safety. The detachable fabric not only allows for hygienic washing , but the simple design of the buckles also makes the fabric easy to adjust, creating a hammock that can support the user as needed. An opening can be made in the fabric to aid bathing. Side rails are available as an accessory to provide extra safety where needed, which can be combined with a range of hip straps, harnesses, head and chest support pads. The corrosion resistant stainless steel frame is coated with a durable white polyester with an anti-microbial additive for protection.
