Mask pods for mouth masks

The mask pods are sold in packs of three . This is a conscious choice from the philosophy that with three mouth masks and three mask pods you can bridge 72 hours each time and it is not necessary to wax the masks each time.

The mask pod is an ecological mask box (mask pod) in which the used mask can be stored dry and airy. It performs 3 functions:

• Safe storage of a used mask until decontamination,
• Transport of mouth masks in handbag, backpack, buildings and healthcare institutions,
• Instruction for correct use and disinfection after use.

The mask pod fits in a normal handbag, school bag, backpack ... and can be opened in the evening to wash the mask at> 60 ° C in the washing machine.

Instructions for use
The COVID-19 virus is no longer pathogenic on cardboard after 24 hours, unlike on plastic and metal (72 hours). Cardboard breathes and ventilates the mask better, which is advantageous compared to a plastic bag. It is also more ecological due to the use of recycled cardboard. Disinfection with 70% alcohol or bleach, dry heating, ... of mouth masks is not recommended because it affects the filter capacity and shape. Therefore, daily washing of fabric masks at 60 ° C or storage after use in a cardboard box (eg in the mask pod) is preferred for a minimum of 72 hours.

Instructions

• Open the mask pod,
• Remove the mouth mask from the ribbons or rubber bands,
• Do not touch the front of the mask,
• Hold the opened mask pod in one hand,
• Hold the used mask by the ribbon or elastic band in the other hand,
• Slide the mouth mask into the mask pod,
• Close the mask pod,
• Afterwards, wash hands with soap and water or hand alcohol.
• Remove the used mouth mask from the mask pod for washing at 60 ° C in the washing machine.

If the user has three mouth masks in his possession, it can also be opted to store the mask for 72 hours in the mask pod. After that it can be used again. The mask pod has instructions on the back to follow up the reuse with date.
