The GSM is equipped with a large keyboard (including two memory keys) with a white background and a large clear display. When the phone is closed you see symbols that show whether there are missed calls or messages.

The phone book has space for 2000 names and numbers, of which you can set 10 to have the caller's name spoken.

For safety, the CL8700 is equipped with an SOS button and ICE function. After pressing the SOS button, the pre-programmed numbers are called in sequence and the phone sends a geolocation message to the recipients.
