Transfer mattress Alpha

With the transfer mattress Alpha a patient can easily be moved higher in bed or in changing positions. A patient can also be transferred from the bed to a shower stretcher or a fallen patient can be lifted. The lifting can be done by several people together, which puts much less strain on the back.

The Lifting Mat makes it possible to move a patient lying in bed to the upper end and on the side, to transfer a patient, for example from a bed to a shower stretcher, and to lift a patient who has fallen to the floor.

A sturdy sliding surface is sewn to the bottom of the Alpha Lifting Mat. The sliding surface significantly reduces the friction between the patient and the transfer level. The side wings can easily be folded inwards together with the handles and with the patient on their side, the transfer sheet can easily be placed under the patient. The inner part of the lift mat can be removed for washing or disinfecting.

Using the Lifting Mat to lift a supine patient from the floor with multiple people is safer for the patient and kinder to the backs of those doing the lifting. The Lifting Mat not only makes it possible to transfer the patient from a patient support to a bed, it also helps caregivers lift the patient from the floor
