With a sliding sheet or pillow, a person is 'slid' instead of lifted. This applies both to raising the chair, placing it in an alternating position or for general positioning. By performing the transfer in this way, the physical burden on the rescuer is greatly reduced and comfort is increased.

The HyperGlideToo© is made of a new and unique fabric, especially for transfers. The fabric combines exceptional strength, softness, suppleness and optimal sliding capacity due to its extremely low friction resistance. HyperGlideToo© is stitched in a tunnel shape.

Instructions:

• Turn the patient on his side and apply the HyperGlide.
• For elevation, the HyperGlide's openings face the sides of the bed. For changing positions, the openings of the sliding sheet are directed towards the head and foot ends.
• Make sure that shoulders and pelvis are on the HyperGlide.
• Place the patient back on his back.
• When changing positions, the HyperGlide remains under the patient for a longer period of time. To provide a comfortable lying surface, a sheet is placed above the HyperGlide. Secure the sheet under the mattress and lay the headboard flat while retaining a pillow.
