Number towers Nikitin

When learning numbers, one often notices that one can easily count to 10 and "rattle off" the numbers from 1 to 10. However, this does not mean that the numbers are understood. This set from Nikitin playfully demonstrates the connection between quantity, size and the number itself: a rook labeled "8" is twice as large as one labeled "4", which in turn is the same size as a bar labeled 4 cubes. Therapists can easily create gradations in the exercises with the number towers.
