Heel protectors provide pressure ulcer prevention for the chronically bedridden patient, providing comfort and relief. Possible use in the treatment of pre-existing pressure ulcers.

The positioners are made of polyurethane foam, the density of which (30 kg/m2) has been suitably selected in cooperation with medical personnel and physiotherapists. A correctly selected density of the foam guarantees a long service life or realization of the supposed functions in medical care.

Covered with PU polyurethane fabric. Zippers. Medical material that does not absorb liquids, is vapor permeable, bi-elastic and pleasant to the touch. It does not require additional protection such as wrapping in cotton fabric.

The positioners are reusable. Easy to disinfect and clean. PU surface has antibacterial, antifungal properties, inhibits the growth of dust mites and has a high degree of fire resistance.

Composition: 45% PE and 55% PU. It is possible to wash the cover in an automatic laundry on short cycles at 40 degrees and disinfect it with antiseptics (Preparations containing alcohol up to 70%; chlorine up to 1000pppm, QUAC) Disinfection and spraying with products containing H2O2 are not recommended.
