The Mealbutler® is an individual heating concept that enables clients in the care sector and at home to heat a meal with high quality. Thanks to its built-in intelligence, the Mealbutler can be operated very easily and the end result is guaranteed.
How does the Mealbutler work?
To better understand a number of features of the Mealbutler, it is important to have an idea of its operation:
- The heating element is very light and has a sophisticated contact with the board.
- That is why the temperature of the heating element almost equals the temperature of the meal.
- The Mealbutler registers the heating curve of the heating element. From this he can calculate which meal mass is present. He tunes the power to the masses.
- This automatic power selection is the intelligence of the Mealbutler.
- Thanks to this intelligent operation, the meal always gets the right end temperature. However, only one button is needed for operation and the user does not have to make any settings. This is an important factor when used by the elderly.

Meal quality
The quality of the end result is guaranteed with the Mealbutler. No settings have to be made, so nothing can go wrong.
The meal is heated very gradually because the heating element is barely warmer than the meal. This results in an unseen result.
Safety
Because the heating element barely gets warmer than the meal, you can not burn yourself. In addition, a number of functions are provided to promote safety:
- A hot plate that is not used switches itself off.
- An empty device switches itself off.
- A forgotten device switches itself off.
Versions of the software
The Mealbutler is usually used with chilled meals. In addition, it can be used with disposable packaging or a porcelain plate and bowl. There are different versions of the software for this ("plastic" or "porcelain"). A warm-up cycle for coolers takes 45 minutes.
(The Mealbutler can also regenerate fresh-frozen meals. Fresh-frozen meals require more energy and the cycle therefore takes longer, in particular 60 minutes. For frozen-fresh meals, the software version "deep-freeze" is provided.
Matching crockery
The Mealbutler makes an interpretation of the weight of the meal (see above "How does the Mealbutler work?"). For a correct estimate, only the weight of the meal may be an unknown factor. As soon as other factors differ, the interpretation will be wrong. That is why the Mealbutler must always be used with the supplied crockery. Other signs will give wrong results.
