A number of combination cutlery have been designed for one-handed use: knife-fork, spoon-fork. A tilting knife can be used to prevent the food from shifting when cutting.
In addition to appropriate cutlery, the use of anti-slip material, plate edges, etc. is also recommended.

Most cutlery is in principle suitable for a household dishwasher at a moderate temperature. Industrial dishwashers such as those used in commercial kitchens and institutions can damage the handle.
