Mobiderm short for lymphedema in the pelvis and genitals

Mobiderm is a medical device consisting of foam blocks, which are attached between twodressing layers (non-woven).
The Technology can be used in a compression bandage (as a bandage or pad), or incorporated into Point Pressure Devices (PPD) - compression garments .
Due to the pressure differences created between the support zones of the blocks and the area around them, the flow of lymphatic fluid is improved and drainage is optimized .

The Mobiderm tights offer a uniquesolution for patients with genitallymphedema .

The Mobiderm tights have been developed together with healthcare professionals and healthcare consumers. The result is a product with an integrated Mobiderm structure, well thought-out graduated compression and a discreet design. The compression in the material creates a graduated pressure, equal to 15-20 mmHg around the pelvic area to 5-10 mmHg at the thighs. This allows the tights to be combined with overlapping medical compression aids, such as therapeutic elastic stockings. The Mobiderm structure supports the lymphatic fluid transport in case of genital edema.

Together with three treatment centers in France, a medical study has been carried out with Mobiderm tights.

indication

• Mobiderm tights are indicated in the treatment of pelvic and genital lymphedema.

Contraindications

• Skin infections of the pelvis or legs.
• Known allergies to any of the ingredients.
• Peripheral artery disease (PAD) of the lower extremities with ankle brachial index (ABI) < 0.6.
• Decompensated heart failure.
• Septic thrombosis of the proximal veins.
• Phlegmasia cerulea dolens (painful blue edema with arterial compression) in the thighs.
• Posthectomy (circumcision) in the past three months.
• Female patient with marked localized edema of the labia minora only.
