Threshold aids are mobility aids that allow better access to your home and areas with existing stairs or elevated surfaces. Ramps make the steps in and around your home accessible to wheelchair and scooter users and our small and half steps make existing steps easier to reach.

Threshold aids reduce uncomfortable lifting over stairs and in vehicles. They give you the independence to move around your home, rather than rely on help.
All our ramps and steps have anti-slip surfaces to provide extra stability during transport and to reduce the risk of slips and falls.

What different threshold aids do we offer?
Full-width ramps - Most of our ramps have a flat, full-width design to accommodate a range of scooters and wheelchairs.
Channel ramps - channel ramps fit steps or elevated surfaces with a separate ramp for each wheel. They can be placed closer or further apart so that they are suitable for different wheelchairs or scooters.
Threshold plates - door thresholds are often raised and can make it difficult to get from one room to another. Our threshold plates bridge the threshold or fit on one side so you can easily drive over it .
Foldable ramps - ramps can sometimes be folded and come with handles, making them easy to transport and ideal for carrying. We even offer a roll-up ramp that comes with its own bag. It is easy to unpack and has a ribbed non-slip surface.
