Like its predecessor, the original OrCam Read, this device can instantly read text on any surface, whether you’re at home or on the go. It also has an intelligent reading function, ideal for quickly finding specific words in a document.

2nd function: a compact video magnifier

When installed on the stand (included) and connected to a screen (not included), the OrCam Read 3 transforms itself into a modern, powerful video magnifier.

By connecting it to your computer or tablet via WiFi, you can transform any screen into a highly customizable digital magnifying glass using your OrCam account. The device allows you to zoom in on a variety of content, including text, images, and other visual elements. Note: Reading handwritten text is only possible when the OrCam Read 3 is connected to a computer via WiFi. In this case, the handwritten text is processed and read via an OrCam application that is accessible via a web browser.

Screens Compatible with OrCam Read 3

OrCam Read 3 does not have its own screen, but can be connected to various types of screens, such as a computer, laptop or tablet. These screens must have an internet connection and a browser for optimal compatibility.

Note: Phones are not compatible with OrCam Read 3 because their screen is too small to be used effectively as a magnifier.
