The principle of a Parkinson's rollator
A Parkinson rollator serves as a mobility aid for people with Parkinson's disease. More specifically, patients who suffer from the "freezing" problem. This means that they come to a standstill when walking, glued to the ground. Or when leaving, for example, they do not get going properly and eventually stop and block. A rollator is an adequate aid at a certain stage of the condition. The Rollz Rhythm helps with walking in various ways, in some cases it can significantly improve the mobility of these patients. Remember, Parkinson's does not affect everyone in the same way. Some are helped by it, others unfortunately not.

The revolutionary antifreeze system
This rollator uses different signals to get you going again. These signals are started by a button at the top of the handle (see detail photo). Each signal is adjustable and can be switched on and off separately.
1. An auditory signal:
A metronome provides the cadence to help you get started. The rhythm can be the trigger for some patients to start or continue walking. You can change this signal to your own needs in speed and volume.
2. A visual signal
A green laser signal on the ground helps you focus when starting off. Green is the colour that the human eye sees best. When you take a bend, the angle of the laser changes to provide the same assistance in a short bend as on a straight stretch. This visual signal is very effective indoors, but (almost) invisible outdoors.
3. A kinesthetic signal
The handles of the Rollz Rhythm have a vibration function. These vibrations are also adjustable in frequency and number.
The combination of these three signals optimizes the use of a rollator.

Rollz Motion pneumatic tires
Set of pneumatic tires that fit every Rollz Motion
The Rollz Motion pneumatic tire set consists of four pneumatic tires and a pump. The pneumatic tires absorb the shocks that can occur on uneven terrain. This way you will experience more comfort while walking. The pneumatic tires can also be placed on any Rollz Motion. It is not recommended to use the pneumatic tires in combination with the Rollz drag brakes. This is to prevent wear of the parts.

Do you want to influence your own walking speed? Then the Rollz Motion drag brakes are the ideal solution! The drag brakes provide constant resistance while walking. You can place the drag brakes above the wheels on each side of the frame. By turning the adjusting screw, you can set the resistance personally. If you convert the Rollz rollator into a wheelchair, you can completely remove the resistance by loosening the adjusting screw.

The Rollz wheelchair package consists of a foldable seat with backrest with which you can convert your Rollz Motion rollator into a wheelchair and both. The Rollz Motion is supplied as standard with this wheelchair package. The footrests must be ordered separately. The wheelchair package only fits the Rollz Motion and the Rollz Motion Rhythm.
