The ribbed exterior and 'winged' handles allow the cup to be held in different ways. The wide base provides sufficient stability.

The wide opening and conical interior means that the head does not have to be bent back to drink.

The protruding edge ('tulip shape') ensures correct placement of the lips to prevent spills.

Double-walled, for a secure grip when the cup is filled with hot drinks.
