Therapists in rehabilitation centers are increasingly asked to provide targeted pre-professional training, e.g. at the end of back rehabilitation. However, the practical organization within a rehabilitation setting is not always so obvious. It often requires a lot of thought, improvisation and creativity to simulate the precise working conditions. This is often still relatively doable for office, cleaning or household work. For other professions such as a garage mechanic, roofer, pipe fitter, belt worker, mechanic, etc., there are currently no systematic manual assignments on the market. In Germany, a number of occupational therapists have analyzed all these tasks and skills and tried to group and schematize most of these diverse actions into standard assignments. This has resulted in the WorkPark project in collaboration with Nitzbon.
